On a walking tour of City of London churches, we will see Sir Christopher Wren’s finest buildings, from the miniature masterpiece of St Mary Abchurch (pictured below) to the mighty baroque of St Paul’s Cathedral. Along the way, you will learn how to read a parish church, inside and out, from Harry Mount, architectural historian and editor of The Oldie. Includes lunch (and wine) in Middle Temple Hall, the best Elizabethan building in London.

11.30am Meet-up and introduction by Harry Mount at St Mary At Hill (full meet-up details to follow)

12-1 pm Walk and church tour

1-2 pm Two-course lunch in the Middle Temple Hall

2-3 pm Walk and church tour to finish
